I Really Miss These 1990's and Early 2000's Reality Shows!

Although it's been well over 20 years when most of these reality shows came out (30 years in some cases!), I still find myself pining for them. It may be nostalgia from a simpler time in my life. But I feel like these shows are still really good and I find myself watching them on my iPhone at night (when no one is watching). If you haven't checked out these reality shows, you definitely need to.
The Real World-New York, L.A., San Francisco, and London
Who doesn't remember Puck, John, Beth, Jacinda and Neil from these seasons? These seasons to me were the best. When Season 1-The Real World: New York first launched on MTV in 1992, I was hooked. I resonated with Julie, probably because she was the closest to my age. I thought the concept of the show was the coolest. My favorite season though, I must admit was The Real World: Los Angeles. I loved L.A. And who didn't have the biggest crush on Aaron? I think I decided to attend UCLA because of him. Love!
The Osbournes
I can still hear Kelly Osbourne screaming at something her brother Jack did to annoy her. I swear my children are them from a parallel universe. I appreciated how we could see Ozzy in a more refined atmosphere besides just biting the head of a bat (allegedly?). He was the voice of reason. Who knew? The Osbournes set the gold standard for reality TV and their show still stands the test of time in my opinion.
The Surreal Life and the Spin-Off My Fair Brady
The Surreal Life is great because we got to catch up with our favorite stars from past decades. This included Ponch from CHiPs (Erik Estrada), Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, Vince Neil, Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block, and Peter Brady from The Brady Bunch (Christopher Knight). Christopher Knight and the first America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry actually procured a spin-off My Fair Brady. Their 25-year age difference caused major drama with her chasing him and crying in most episodes. Although this show is completely toxic, it provides for good entertainment.
House of Carters
Who didn't have a crush on Nick Carter in the early 2000's? This show was eye candy for a Nick Carter fan. Nick and Aaron Carter are (were) great entertainers. (R.I.P. Aaron) The sisters created a lot of drama too between them. With sister B.J. trying to avoid her boyfriend and saying on national television she wasn't attracted to him while drunk, to sister Leslie trying to secure a recording contract, this show really came down to family. You could tell there was love between them and that's what made the show great.
Teen Mom
I know, I know, this one is controversial. I wouldn't recommend watching Teen Mom now but when Teen Mom came out it was a phenomenon for young girls. I was in my 20's and ate it up like the rest of them. The show has an addictive quality to it. I couldn't even believe the level of drama allowed on television!
Viva La Bam
I will always have a special place in my heart for Bam Margera. Bam and his crew loved to prank his uncle Don Vito, his mom April and his dad Phil. Bam makes a skatepark in Phil and April's house while they're on vacation. Then Bam creates "Operation: Don't Feed Phil" and has a concert at his house. In Season 2, he buys Castle Bam and in Season 3 he challenges April not to complain for a whole day, and he'll buy her whatever she wants. Although really stupid concepts, the show is still near and dear to my heart-o-gram.
